M25 Artificial Cannabis Caper Exposed.

M25 Artificial Cannabis Caper Exposed

Back in 2010 the newspapers were full of a new and unusual cannabis caper which was carrying on around stretch's of the M25 motorway north of London.

Police had been called by a farmer who was growing industrial hemp. According to the farmer cars were pulling up to his crops, the occupants would then jump out and cut down as much of the cultivated hemp plants as possible, and then make off before 'the rozzers' arrived.

The farmer claimed to have lost hundreds of kilo's of plant matter which was worthless unless you wanted to make hemp yarn, or hemp based cosmetics.

Local police were at a loss to why people would want to steal something which whilst it may look like cannabis, thats where the similarities end.

A police officer who was called to the scene explained "People think they can get high on hemp".

"It looks like cannabis, it even smells like cannabis, but without the psycho active THC crystals which gather on the female cannabis plant, (which the industrial hemp plant has none of), industrial hemp is absolutely useless as a recreational drug!?

So why would people go to such length's to steal it?

The answer was mentioned in the text above. Industrial hemp looks, smells and feels just like the humble cannabis plant. The only bit missing is the bit that gets you stoned.

Enter JWH-018

JW Huffman is an organic chemist from the United States. In the last decade or two scientists like he have been able to manufacture synthetic cannabinoids. That is, the bit of the cannabis plant which brings with it the high, as well as all the medical benefits.

Now THC as we know it consists of a soup consisting of over 400 different substances, and differs markedly from plant to plant let alone from species to species. So try as they may, the pharmaceutical industry has been unable to synthesize whole-plant THC. But they can recreate little bits of it. One of the most popular little bits is called JWH-018, (named after its creator Dr JW Huffman of Clemson University).

Jwh-018 was recently 'outed' as being the active component in Artificial cannabis products marketed under the brand names of Spice and K2, as well as a great many others.

These synthetic marijuana products are said to mimic the effects of cannabis whilst at the same time being upwards of 10x more potent than regular smoked cannabis.

A lab in Germany revealed JWH-018 was the secret ingredient in Spice type products and almost overnight a legend was born.

Clever boffin types were using solvent evaporation technique's to infuse their chosen vegetable matter with man made cannabinoid JWH-018, creating in the process a synthetic version of cannabis.

The problem was of course, finding something which would burn readily when dried whilst at the same time mimicking the taste and smell of cannabis.

Then, a gang of drug dealers happened upon a field of industrial hemp. A field full of 12 foot cannabis plants. Can you imagine?

It didn't take long to figure out how well the solvent extraction method would work on the dried hemp, and soon after wards North London and the rest of the UK was flooded with an artificial form of cannabis which was being grown for the gangsters by a local farmer, albeit unwittingly.

Any that was intercepted would be destroyed as being regular cannabis, and no one was any the wiser. Not the Police, nor the cannabis buying public. Until now!

Good home-grown cannabis should always come with a coating of crystals.

If the cannabis you are buying doesn't have a healthy coating of what looks like sugar then chances are you're smoking something which came not from a natural plant, but out of a Chinese or American laboratory.

You have been warned.

DEMOCRACY?

DEMOCRACY?

Seemly, it is a belief that we are born into a democratic society. That we are born into a privileged world for having the right to vote is impressed upon some of us. Our fathers and grandfathers fought a war for our freedom, and they won that war. Some may say that we are LUCKY; we could be living under some dictatorship.
Then there are a growing number of us citizens that now believe that we live under a disguised
         dictatorship.

Real Democracy is when everyone is involved in the decision making process.

Parliament began as a body that represented feudal nobles by feudal nobles, this evolved into a parliament, which represented land-owning and agricultural interests more generally. The great Reform Act of 1832 then extended this to wealthy industrialist’s and property owners. The vote was eventually given to every adult over 18 years but by that time the process of voting was completely rigged.

[Look at 'EnglishCivilWar' by Diane Purkiss; see exactly where and what parliament was and how it was set-up].

All the main parties support and cling to the present system. If any party elected to office, and then start to try & change the system at its heart, they would last as long as it took the ‘real-policy-makers’ to get tanks and troops onto the streets.

So who are the real-policy-makers? The real policy makers are in fact 125 of the world’s wealthiest and therefore powerful industrialist’s, royalty, the mason’s and various ‘roundtables’ and of course the powerful Bilderberg Group. The Bilderberg Group seems to come out as the most senior and powerful of such secret groups. These people own their own Banks, worldwide corporations and the Media. In fact, between them they own the world, everything we buy or need each and every day as a necessity is owned by these people.

The Bilderberg group meets in secret; there are no paper documents, no minutes of meetings. They are totally unaccountable. These people have set up this charade to give us the _illusion_ of freedom so that they can continue to exploit us.

They make sure that everyone involved in the political arena feels their influence.

Sure a few radicals have made it to prominent positions but they are soon forced out of office. Minor changes can be made but ultimately this system is for the ruling classes and is designed to enslave us while protecting the wealthy. Look closely at our system of governance and you will realise that its geared entirely towards them and the accumulation of capital.

The first past the post system is an absurd way of judging who should govern us. And who says who needs to be governed anyway?

When you vote you are giving away your power in saying that you need someone else to make decisions for you. But you don’t, we can and do govern ourselves with the decisions we make every day. The workings of government are only there to protect capitalist’s interests putting profits before the interest of the people. We are brainwashed into thinking that politicians are working for us, when they are in fact just the puppets the corporations. Voting changes nothing, in fact it only serves to legitimise their corrupt system.

Politicians must really look down on the general public to want to rule over them. What do they think we will do without them dictating to us?

And if this system is fair then why do political parties dominate it? Why should my representative be affiliated to a party?

This makes no sense to me, but it does if you consider that they are trying to pull the wool over our eyes. All their petty squabbling is designed to turn us off politics, to make us look the other way while they get on passing draconian laws. For us there are football matches that have increased the amount of games played. This undoubtedly takes the spirit and rational thinking at a time when folk are not working, exactly how the oligarch's like it. All three main parties have the same agenda and they are subordinate to one person, the Queen.*
Many people believe that the Queen has no power anymore. I think this is bollocks. If one becomes a member of parliament you have to swear allegiance to the Queen of England, as do the military, police, civil-servants etc.; none of the fore mentioned bodies swear allegiance to the people.

This basically means she is in charge and that we have been conned into thinking she is just our figure head and has no say in the working of parliament.

When push comes to shove it will be her troops on the streets and her politicians will be directing them. She is also the richest woman in the world and as we all know, money talks in capitalist society. She has her fingers in many pies, shares in all the richest corporations and huge tracts of land all over the world. So you can see the Queen benefits hugely from capitalism and if all politicians and military personnel throughout the commonwealth are subordinate to her, then we are not going to get rid of this system and gain our freedom through her majesties government.

The Queens cousin, The Duke of Kent, is the highest ranking freemason and all the Royals are basically above the law. They do what the fuck they want.

We need to wake up to this fact and start challenging this power structure.

This cannot be achieved through our present ‘parliamentary-form-of-democracy’.

The Freemasons and the Royals have the real power in this country as well as abroad, it’s interesting to know that all the forty three Presidents of the U.S.A have direct genetic links to the European Royal families, or family, as they are all related to each other. Obviously we need to live together on this planet and so we do need some form of decision making.

In fact we should all be involved in decisions that affect our lives-* this is Democracy.

This article was written to question our beliefs on democracy. Is it really worth legitimising by putting an X by the name of someone you don’t know, who isn’t going to do anything for you the constituent, even if she or he wanted?

The system is dominated solely by those politicians who once elected will tell you something that you know to be untrue.
                                                       Bring Back Democracy !

This article is thanks to 'fuffydave' di DOODA, of ‘the propaganja machine’. The article entitled ‘Democracy is a Sham’ was printed in the London & Global Underground Party (etc) Magazine called Shangri-la-la.( I picked this magazine up in Amsterdam, Holland, Nov; 2001)

NB.  New submissions that were not in the first articale by is the addition of
'The Bilderberg Group' and the piece bellow re:* Rockafella, The Scipps Bank                             Otherwise, the above text is the work of  fuffydave di Dooda.

* Though it is stated that the Queen is held as a all powerful person. It has been stated that there are four people who hold real power. These four are accountable to the Lord Mayor of London ( and this is not Boris Johnson), but each of the four men are representatives of the four major banks in Londons square mile of wealth. Each of the four serves a particular bank, of these are the Rockerfella Bank, The Scripps Bank, John Morgan Bank & one other the name evades me at the moment. These are the mosdt powerful men in the country.

Cannabis Compound 'could halt breast cancer' Last Updated at 11:28 Nov; 2007

Cannabis compound 'could halt breast cancer'Last updated at 11:28 20 November 2007

Comments (0) Add to My Stories A compound found in the cannabis plant has halted the spread of secondary cancer in lab tests

A chemical found in cannabis may stop breast cancer spreading through the body say scientists.

Researchers are hopeful that a compound found in cannabis called cannabidiol (CBD) could be a non-toxic alternative to chemotherapy. Unlike cannabis, CBD doesn't give users a 'high' and it is not illegal.

CBD works by blocking the activity of a gene called Id-1 which is believed to be responsible for the aggressive spread of cancer cells away from the original tumour site creating what are known as 'secondaries'.

Work has already shown CBD can block aggressive human brain cancers. The new research found CBD had a similar effect on breast cancer cells in the lab.

Lead researcher Dr Sean McAllister of The California Pacific Medical Centre Research Institute team said: "Right now we have a limited range of options in treating aggressive forms of cancer.

"Those treatments, such as chemotherapy, can be effective but they can also be extremely toxic and difficult for patients.

"This compound offers the hope of a non-toxic therapy that could achieve the same results without any of the painful side effects."

Doctors stress that smoking cannabis is unlikely to effective as sufficient quantities of CBD are not found in the leaf. They have to be extracted and are then concentrated to make a dose strong enough to kill cancer cells.

Dr Joanna Owens of Cancer Research UK said: "This research is at a very early stage. The findings will need to be followed up with clinical trials in humans to see if the CBD is safe, and whether the beneficial effects can be replicated.

"Several cancer drugs based on plant chemicals are already used widely, such as vincristine - which is derived from a type of flower called Madagascar Periwinkle and is used to treat breast and lung cancer. It will be interesting to see whether CBD will join them."

Today was one of my normal 3-weekly visits to the Marsden for herceptin & pamidronate, with a difference . For those of you that don't know me - my lot is to have extensive bone mets which I have had for 7 years now. Over the past year pain has been difficult to control and as well as taking opioid drugs I have also had a spinal nerve block. This is now wearing off so I thought before trying another nerve block it may be worth giving this trial a go. It is specifically for those who have been on oromorph or oxycodone and who are not getting the control they need on these drugs and are not happy to increase that dosage

I had learned of it from a leaflet I picked up at the Marsden. I phoned the Trial Nurse and arranged to talk to her at my next Pain Clinic appointment. She gave me the paperwork to take home and read over the weekend, and phoned me on the Monday to ask if I wanted to go ahead.

Having said yes she arranged to meet up with me in the Day Unit today. I think I even got a bed today on the strength of that! I was able to go through the preliminaries and along with usual bloods she had her tube at the ready too - I gather they will be checking I havent had any cannabis recently LOL, and kidney function among other things. Next the pee pot appeared so I went and filled it for her. Then a full ECG and check by a Doctor of my mouth, chest and tum. She then took full medical history which she will check against computer records and re-confirm that with me and a list of all the meds I was currently on. Now I have to phone a freephone toll no. every night to report on a scale of 0-10, my average pain over 24hrs, my worst pain over 24hrs, quality of sleep (no probs there ) and how many breakthrough doses of drugs I have taken.

The next step is that someone is monitoring this information and when they have what they want (could take from 5-14 days) I will go on to the next stage.

The trial is a double blind and I have a 1 in 4 chance of a placebo. The other 3 parts are groups on different doses of the drug. The drug is called Sativex and comes in the form of a mouth spray, but to you and me simple folk the word is cannabis!!! If you want the technical stuff it contains the ingredients tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD). It will last 9 weeks and I can opt out at any point if I am not happy. I do not have to give any reason for doing this.

I was quite surprised to find I was the first one on the trial. I read that the study will take place at up to 130 centres across the world incl. UK. Approx 336 people will take part. That sounds like very few in each centre if that is how it works. It has already been approved for prescription use in Canada for MS and for the relief of pain in people with advanced cancer - oh the info goes on and on so I wont totally bore you. Why am I doing it? Maybe I am a junkie - I like my lollipops (don't ask). Maybe I am trying to find what I missed in the 60s. Maybe it is because I would like to be relieved of this ***** pain.

Watch this space.
